POCO's first Smartphone was POCO F1, this was actually a modified version of Mi 8; featuring a plastic-built backside, with similar internal hardware, specifications, and design. POCO F1 was the first device of Xiaomi, which was available with an Appdoc along with MIUI. This was the only special launcher specific for POCO devices referred to as POCO Launcher. POCO F1 was one of the devices which supported the 3D Face unlocking system, which uses an IR Advance Technology like that of iPhone X. POCO F1 is so successful that, it is also being sold now from the day it has been launched.
When POCO F1 was launched it was competing directly with OnePlus 6T. During which, the visitors of the launch-event of POCO were distributed free calculators each and were asked to "Do The Math" and likewise, POCO is directly competing with OnePlus 6T.
Poco was officially launched in India, but it isn't limited only up to India, in spite of this it is being sold through the globe. POCO Smartphone getting sold all-over the entire world more then 50+countries in today's time.
Poco had made the first handset which on Software update could be made supported to WIDEVINE L1 (i.e., in POCO F1 there wasn't any WIDE1 L1 for which Netflix and Amazon Prime Videos couldn't be streamed in HD) thus, after a Software Update the device was updated to enable this feature on the handset so-as-to ensure the users need not visit any service centers.
POCO is well-known for its great Camera performances and interference. In POCO X2 , it was India's first smartphone which was enrolled with Sony IMX-64Mp Image Sensor. And in 2018 a smartphone camera blind test was done by a popular tech-YouTuber, in which it has been seen after the results that, the 2nd position was acquired by POCO which defeated many other companies.
POCO in today's time, announces itself to be independent of Xiaomi but in reality, the POCO phones global still comes under Xiaomi. And in India, mostly all the offices of POCO shares itself with Xaiomi's office. Other than these, their relation further continued along with Xiaomi's MIUI which was actually enrolled by Xiaomi but is still being used in many POCO devices. Recently launched POCO X2 is also like that of Redmi K30.
POCO has a history of manufacturing devices at more affordable price ranges with high specifications for the users. POCO's motive is "Everything you Need and Nothing you Don't", which refers to that, they emphasize more on manufacturing those features which you need and are concerned about what we don't want. POCO F1 is the only smartphone for the time being which was manufactured in 2018 but it's still being highly used and available in the market to be sold. Poco X2 is also a great deal to buy because it was the first device to provide 120Hrz refresh-rate display under the price range of INR-20,000. POCO X2 is named to be POCO X2, probably to compete with Realme-X2 thus it may be named as such possibility.
These all are interesting facts which implies looks are different but are almost alike. And be because of all such competition among different companies, it can be easily justified from the overall perspective the ultimate winner is sure to be no other than the Users because of great features are now available in affordable smartphones, which are really beneficial for the users.
